  • Matt Cutt's Blog is quite new, but already full of hot google info. I say you've got to either bookmark this site or subscribe to the feed. right away. For example the post titled SEO Mistakes: sneaky JavaScript should be read by anyone using the Beyond AdSense model.
  • Listen to the MP3 recording of Perry Marshall's recent teleseminar covering the latest changes to Google's Adwords keywords states.
  • Google Spam Guide - I highly recommend you read this document. It's the sign of things to come in the near future. If you are looking to continue making money online, read this and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Blogging Tools

  • Blogger - Free Blogging service from Google. If you are looking to quickly get started with little or no money, this is the way to go.
  • Typepad - Not free, but has a lot of very powerful features
  • MovableType - More advanced blogging tool from the makers of typepad, it's harder to install. However, I like it a lot.
  • Wordpress - Another blogging tool that's very popular. Its free and can be installed in one click if you have Cpanel with Fantastico on your hosting account.

Conferencing Tools

  • Skype -
  • AIM - AOL Instant Messenger . I started out with this years ago and still use it.
  • Yahoo Messenger - Yahoo messenger. I like the ability for it to log chats. Useful for keeping track of past conversations.

Cool Apps to Have around

  • Yahoo Desktop Search - I'm really hooked on this nifty app. I use it daily to quickly find emails and files on my computer. When you have an inbox as big as mine, this tool is a must have. An added feature is the ability to search through chats on yahoo messenger.
