DECEMBER 1st Newsletter

Hi,

I wanted to send this quick but important newsletter out sooner, but I've been away on vacation for the past week. I just got back yesterday, so if you emailed me at askNana@gmail.com I'll be working on replies throughout the next few days.

Ok, I don't need to tell you that the holidays are quickly coming up upon us, and now is the time to really ramp up your internet marketing efforts. I had personally planned on setting up some campaigns to take advantage of the after thanksgiving shopping rush. Unfortunately I missed out on that opportunity, but now that I'm back I'm moving at full pace to make the most of this brief shopping period.

I've developed a PPC system that utilizes a lot of different marketing best practices, including lead capture or list generation, AdSense arbitrage, and affiliate marketing. Unfortunately, due the time constraints I don't think I'll be able to share the full strategy before the end of the holiday season, because I'm busy putting this into practice on my own stuff :)

Of course I'm not going to leave you hanging and wondering, so here is a quick outline of what I'm doing. When I have more time, I'll fill in the details.

1. Do research on eBay’s toy finder site. http://www.thebizbank.com/eBay-toy-finder.php This is not the only place to do research, but because of the Christmas season, and the fact that millions of children around the country and the world will be bugging their parents (and Santa) for many of the toys on this site.

2. Find a hot product to promote and generate a keyword list for it. They already have a list of hot toys divided into different age groups. I use the Google and overture keyword tools for this. Also, if you have a wordtracker account, you can use that too. http://www.thebizbank.com/wordtracker.php

3. Create an optimized landing page for this product. As I mentioned this is a combo affiliate marketing, AdSense arbitrage, and squeeze page type landing page. For this method I'm using the eBay affiliate program. You can signup for this on CJ http://www.thebizbank.com/cj.php

4. Create a PPC campaign on Google AdWords and Yahoo search Marketing (YSM, formerly overture http://www.thebizbank.com/yahoo-search-marketing.php ) to send traffic to your landing page. For PPC I'd stay with Google or YSM (overture). I have 4 $100 AdWords coupons to give out; I haven't decided how to give these out yet. So stay tuned. Sorry, actually I only have 3 because I gave one out yesterday. For my PPC campaigns, I keep my bids low (between 7 to 10 cents). Yahoo currently gives you a $25 credit or $50 off of Fast Track. Use coupon code: USCJ11

5. Finally: Track, Optimize and repeat. Google Analytics will help make this process easier, especially with their direct linkage with AdWords campaigns.

I know this is a bit short, so let me know if you have any questions of any of the steps. That way I can cover it when I create the expanded outline. Hopefully I can make some templates etc to share with you. Remember email me at askNana@gmail.com

Hope you had a great thanksgiving holiday.

PS: Don't forget to send all emails to the new address I've setup just for my subscribers. It's askNana@gmail.com

Sincerely

Nana Gilbert-Baffoe
